Breakout Game

Breakout is an arcade video game developed by Atari, Inc and released on May 13, 1976. It was designed by Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow and influenced by the 1972 arcade game Pong, also by Atari.

Summary: The game has a brick layer. The ball passes through the screen, bouncing off the side and top walls of the screen. When a brick is hit, the player gains a point, the ball bounces back and the brick is destroyed. The player loses a life when the ball touches the bottom of the screen.
